Additional Personal Care Services

Caring for a loved one is meaningful work – and everyone needs a break. Our respite services give family caregivers time to rest and recharge, while knowing their loved one is in capable, caring hands.

For clients who need more than foundational daily assistance, Advanced Personal Care provides a broader level of support tailored to more complex routines and safety needs.

Support includes:

  • Medication reminders (non-administration)
  • Safety supervision throughout daily routines
  • Escort assistance within the home
  • Structured support for daily living routines
  • Additional coordination for individuals with greater independence challenges

A safe, clean home is part of staying well. Our homemaker support helps clients maintain their living environment when household tasks become too demanding.

Support includes:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry and linen changes
  • Meal preparation
  • Dishwashing
  • Grocery assistance

Registered nurses visit clients at home to provide skilled oversight and coordination that keeps care safe, current, and appropriate.

Nurse visits include:

  • Medication management and administration support
  • Health monitoring and vital sign checks
  • RN assessment and care plan oversight

Nurse visits ensure that as needs change, your care plan changes with them.

How to Get Started

Most Ozark Personal Care services are funded through Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) programs. Eligible clients may qualify for covered personal care hours at no or low cost.

How to Qualify

A Missouri DHSS assessor determines eligibility, what services are needed, how frequently those services are required, and the total number of approved hours. Our team can walk you through the process from start to finish.
