Edward Reese, M.D.

Introducing Dr. Edward Reese, M.D., a board-certified Family Medicine physician and the Rural Health Medical Director at Ozark Total Healthcare. Dr. Reese provides full-scope primary care for patients of all ages, with clinical interests in chronic disease management, early cancer detection, mental health, and patient education. His services include treatment of your specific health concerns, delivered with a patient-centered focus. He plans to continue to improve healthcare in southeast Missouri.

A graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a former U.S. Air Force physician, Dr. Reese brings a deep well of experience from both military and civilian healthcare. He is fluent in Spanish and is known for his clear communication, calm presence, and strong commitment to evidence-based care and collaborative treatment planning.

Originally from El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Dr. Reese now lives in Poplar Bluff with his wife and three children. He is active in his church, supports homeschool education, and is proud to continue his family’s long tradition of service in healthcare and the military. His compassionate approach and leadership make him a valued part of the Ozark team.
